Connect safely
Use the current connection information published in the official Discord or Grimshore server listing. Let all resources finish loading before interacting; never trust connection details sent by an unverified account.

Create a person, not a loadout
Choose a believable Australian-setting identity, appearance, age, temperament and reason for arriving. Every character slot is a separate life with separate knowledge, money, contacts and consequences.

Learn the city in character
Check your phone, inventory, map and available public work. Ask people for directions, visit staffed businesses and let your first contacts become part of the story instead of searching for secret mechanics out of character.

Six systems worth understanding
Phone
Calls, messages, contacts and available city services are in-character information.
Inventory
Weight, containers, serials and item-specific details represent physical possession.
Banking
Money and accounts belong to the active character. Cross-character banking is prohibited.
Housing
Homes provide personal space and storage but do not override warrants or server rules.
Employment
Public jobs are story starters. Use issued vehicles and tools responsibly.
Medical care
Injuries matter. Follow the displayed condition and allow Ambulance to assess and treat you.
Good first-night goals
Build connections before progression
- Introduce your character to at least two people.
- Complete one lawful public job or visit a staffed business.
- Learn how your phone, inventory, banking and vehicle access work.
- Save emergency numbers and understand when to call 000.
- Choose one longer-term ambition for the character.
