Public transport
Take the wheel, learn every corner of town and discover why the last passenger of the night is usually the most interesting. Timetables are optional conversation starters; safe driving is not.
GRIMSHOREDOCUMENTATION PORTALWork, reputation and opportunity
Grimshore’s jobs are not menus to grind in silence. They are places to meet employers, form rivalries, serve customers and give your character a reason to be known.
Keep Grimshore moving—and collect a few stories along the route
Take the wheel, learn every corner of town and discover why the last passenger of the night is usually the most interesting. Timetables are optional conversation starters; safe driving is not.
Fresh air, questionable smells and a front-row seat to what Grimshore throws away. Grab a mate, work the route and try not to become part of tomorrow’s collection.
Cones out, hazards marked and traffic somehow still aiming directly at you. Ideal for practical characters who enjoy public works and roadside encounters.
When half the block goes dark, somebody has to turn up with tools and confidence. Treat live infrastructure seriously—even if your apprentice does not.
Every fare is a tiny episode: airport hopefuls, exhausted medics, suspicious duffel bags and people who absolutely promise they will tip.
Swap city noise for hard work, salt air and the occasional bad idea
Head into the timber country, put in an honest shift and turn raw logs into a living. Flannel is not mandatory, but commitment to the bit is encouraged.
Go underground looking for valuable material and come back with dust, stories and hopefully the same number of limbs. Process your haul through the proper chain.
One person’s lost pocket change is another person’s grand archaeological expedition. Search lawful ground and let every strange find start a story.
Cast into Australian-inspired waters, chase the catch everyone swears was “this big,” and sell the lawful haul before the pelicans unionise.
Track lawful game beyond the suburbs, respect weapon and wildlife rules, and remember: preparation matters more than looking rugged in the photos.
For characters who consider the road their second address
Big loads, long roads, questionable servo coffee. Plan the route, respect the turning circle and deliver before your dispatcher begins speaking in capital letters.
Give Grimshore’s pride and joys the shine they deserve while their owners explain every modification in exhausting detail. Easy work, excellent gossip.
Move valuable cargo without becoming tonight’s breaking news. Trust, teamwork and keeping the route off public radio all help.
Diagnose rattles, rescue stranded motorists and explain that no, hitting the kerb did not “upgrade the suspension.” A brilliant player-service career.
Build drag nights, drift meets and rivalries that live beyond a leaderboard. Race hard, respect the scene and accept that Police may also enjoy the event—from a distance.
Because a character needs hobbies, bad investments and somewhere to celebrate
Train, socialise, chase personal bests and become the person who turns every conversation into a lecture about protein.
Read the table, protect the bankroll and decide whether that quiet stranger is bluffing or simply terrifying. Every chip represents real in-character risk.
Find bargains, move legitimate goods and learn the delicate art of asking “where did this come from?” without sounding like a detective.
Discover recipes, suppliers and customers through play. Today it is a side hustle; tomorrow everyone in Grimshore suddenly owes you a favour.
Hire characters, create a venue people remember and survive customers, payroll and staff drama. The real product is recurring roleplay.
How to begin
Use public map information, job centres, staffed businesses and in-character conversations. Some careers are open immediately; others require an employer, licence, application or reputation.
